"No Shots, No School!" - Not True! (On Vaccine Exemptions)

Have you ever been told that your children will not be allowed to attend school without being up to date on their vaccinations? If not, where have you been? That scare tactic has been used for so many years, it's amazing that it's survived for one simple fact: IT'S NOT TRUE.

Megan at SortaCrunchy posted this a couple of days ago, and the information is exactly what I'd like to share with you, so please

  1. What are the requirements in Israel? Thanks for the link to the Sorta Crunchy article. Very informative. I've been hearing a lot about vaccinations lately. Like how the number required has gone up and the Swine Flu vaccine is scary altogether. What do you think of it all?

I saw a really sad but informative documentary on this subject called "Vaccine-Nation" - you might be interested in viewing it.

  2. I don't know what the official policy is here in Israel, since I purposely haven't asked for fear of "getting on the radar". So far I haven't had to fill out any vaccination form for the school. But then again, my oldest is only in first grade. I think it's just so out of their thinking that anyone would not have gotten the shots, that they don't even ask if you have. Which works fine for us.

The swine flu vaccine is very scary; I've been seeing many bad things about it. Mainly that it will be forced. That's the worst part. And apparently it hasn't been "proven safe" even by their standards. I put that in quotes, because I don't believe any vaccinations have been proven safe, but at least the other ones they claim are. But not this one.

I'm very glad I'm not living there with what's starting to happen.

    I'll check out the video.

I watched a 60 minutes episode from 1979 discussing the swine flu vaccine that was promoted in 1974 and injured many people. Very interesting. You can find it on YouTube. I'll probably do a post on it soon.
